Boca Raton Travel Guide

Hi everyone! Last week I was lucky to spend an entire week in Boca Raton Florida. We stayed in a condo right across the street from the beach and close to Deerfield Beach, a great location! We did not get super lucky with the weather, as it was on and off thunderstorms every day it seemed, but we certainly had a great time and made the best of it! Check out my recommendations and what we did below!

Where We Ate

Flannigan’s: The best wings and ribs you’ll find! We went twice, definitely go if you can, right in Deerfield Beach!

JB’s on the Beach: A great dinner or drink spot! They had a great frozen peach bellini that I loved, and fantastic seafood. There is not much “land food” so I ventured to try the Mediterranean salmon dish which was amazing. Definitely a little more upscale, and with its location right on the beach the views make the experience even better!

Ruth’s Chris: Located right in Mizner Park, the perfect place to get dinner and have a nice walk after! Ruth’s Chris is always a great choice! 🙂

Bob’s Pizza: WOW!! Okay this pizza located in Deerfield Beach was amazing, and I am not one who loves all pizza. Definitely get the Hawaiian if you’re open to pineapple on pizza! (Which by the way is my favorite type of pizza!)

Playa Bowls: A chain, yes, but always good! The best acai and smoothie bowls right in Deerfield Beach! (There are other locations in the area as well).

Deerfield Beach Café: A diner located right on the boardwalk in Deerfield Beach made for the perfect early morning breakfast after watching the sunrise! The breakfast was good, nothing amazing however the ability to sit overlooking the water was amazing!

Kilwin’s: Located in Deerfield Beach, they have great ice cream and other candies!

Sloan’s Ice Cream: Located in Mizner Park, a beautiful spot to walk around after eating great ice cream!

What We Did

The Beach: Of course! The water was almost as clear as the Caribbean, we even saw a couple of sting rays!

Mini Golfing in Delray Beach: The place was called Putt’n Around, and it was so much fun! I love mini golf, and this place did not disappoint! They had both courses (36 holes total) lit up at night, and you could actually order drinks to the hole you were on, how fun!

Day Trip to Palm Beach: Only a 45 minute drive, this was such a fun thing to do! I had never been and I was amazed by how it was landscaped and done so beautifully. I would definitely recommend taking a day to do this!
